Responsibilities:
· Provide customer support activities, including service, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of various communication systems such as satellite communications systems, Cisco VoIP telephony systems, Internet services, intercom systems, networking applications, and two-way radio systems.
· Perform service, installation, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on land rigs, land production sites, remote locations, and offshore platforms to ensure continuous and reliable communication infrastructure.
· Configure, test, and troubleshoot IDirect X5 modems to ensure optimal performance and connectivity for satellite communications systems.
· Configure, test, and troubleshoot C & Ku-band RF units to maintain reliable communication links and minimize downtime.
· Maintain accurate records of service activities, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair tasks, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
· Provide training and guidance to customers or end-users on the proper use and maintenance of communication systems to maximize efficiency and reliability.
