• Enforces federal and state laws and local ordinances and makes necessary arrests

• Executes Writs of Possession receives and reviews Writs; verifies proper issue; schedules date and time for execution with plaintiff.

• Enters property that is subject of Writ and conducts protective sweep; escorts defendant from location and supervises evection crew as possessions are removed from location; and records results of eviction and prepares/files appropriate documentation.

• Serves as Bailiff and provides security for DeKalb County State and Magistrate Courts: supervises jurors; and assists and interacts with general public to provide court-related services.

• Performs other related duties as directed by the Chief Marshal.

• Patrols designated areas to detect and deter criminal activity and traffic violations; conducts surveillance and investigations into illegal activities; prevents/discovers commission of crime; apprehends, arrests, and processes criminals, fugitives and offenders; writes citations.
• Responds to calls relayed by dispatchers, including alarms, domestic disputes, assaults, burglaries, traffic accidents, lost or missing persons searches, rescue operations, public service duties, welfare checks, stranded motorists, or other calls for assistance.
• Conducts preliminary investigations; interviews victims, complainants and witnesses and takes statements; gathers information and evidence.
• Enforces traffic laws; uses radar/laser speed detection units to enforce speed laws.

• Ensure Safety and security of Inmates at Fulton County Jail, areas of duties assigned to Intake process of detainees upon arrest.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports for Administration and Court when applicable.
• Ensure safety of civilian employees and visitors while at Fulton County Jail.

• Implemented pickup and delivering of critical documents and packages both domestic and international.

• Researched edited incorrect addresses and any type of data entry errors, maintained profitability by initiating contact with high revenue shoppers to resolve package service issues and ensure recurring business.
