
A heart for people from all walks of life demonstrated through over 100 hours of volunteer tutoring with Literacy Action of Central Arkansas and comprehensive homeschool teaching. Adaptive to diverse learning needs, showcasing patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
Volunteered over 100 hours of tutoring, preparation, and travel time for two adult clients. Prepared science of reading phonics material and planned lessons to increase phonemic awareness, phonics skills, fluency, and real life applications based on skill level and interests. Met virtually, in-home, and on-site at an adult education center.
Volunteered 38+ hours in warehouse, admin, and on-site food pick ups
Coordinated field trips around Central Arkansas to places such as Family Farm, NLR Swat, fire stations, Arkansas Forestry Commission, local museums, and others to enhance community-based and hands-on learning. Researched and selected group educational opportunities, organized attendance of families, collected payments, and otherwise handled communication between parents and business owners.
