I am a dually trained Critical Care nurse providing exceptional care to a wide variety of patients.

I am currently the full-time charge nurse of a very busy Interventional Radiology department in a major hospital. As the charge nurse in IR, I serve as the stroke team lead for the Comprehensive Stroke Center's facility team. I manage the daily workflow of a heavy IR caseload of a wide variety of cases and assign daily nursing roles based on RN schedules and competencies. I am responsible for both JCAH compliance and CSC compliance. I serve on the panel for Interventional radiology EMR order sets and revisions. I create monthly Visual Management board content for leader rounds. I serve as the radiology resource covering 5 modalities to include main radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound and CT scan. I work closely with patients, families, providers, collaborative departments and outside facilities to provide exceptional patient care.

I remain in the call rotation and administer sedation for a wide variety of cases.

My role as a critical care nurse allows me the opportunity to utilize my skills in managing high acuity patients. I am highly proficient in patient assessment and management, conscious sedation, US IV, difficult IV, EJ certified, Urology Superuser, codes, and EMR charting.
