Activated and managed a joint staff to conduct operations during declared disasters, emergencies, and/or terrorist events. Managed the activation of Air and Army National Guard members and equipment for both federal and state response missions.
  • Well-versed in compensation and regulation regarding Title 32 and Title 10 activations as well as State Active Duty. Managed state to state support through Emergency Management Assistance Compacts.
  • Established local command and control policies and directives in accordance with Federal, state and local agencies. Oversaw the development of all local Quick Reaction Checklists (QRCs), Staff Operational Reporting Procedures (SOPs), and Joint Operating Instructions (JOis) to meet the Adjutant General's mission.
