In addition to providing excellent care to my own patients, I am tasked with creating fair assignments for the next shift, maintaining budgetary guidelines for my unit, completing audits for CAUTI and CLABSI prevention, acting as a resource to the other staff, and obtaining all blood culture samples.


I have provided care to the following patients: pre and post CABG, valve replacement, thoracotomy, and PCI/stent, heart failure, arrhythmia, MI, COPD, DKA, diabetic, GI bleed, pneumonia, sepsis, and many others.


I have been a preceptor, member of unit based council, the Magnet ambassador, the super user for technological upgrades, and the nursing educator for the heart failure education program.
