•Provide and perform quality skilled physical therapy interventions in home health or community settings with pediatric caseload under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist.

•Implement treatment techniques specific to children with developmental delay, orthopedic or neurological conditions and mobility limitations,

•Support patients with mobility exercises, promoting recovery and improving function

•Help pediatric patients reach developmental milestones through age-appropriate play-based interventions promoting gross motor skill development

•Document daily patient progress accurately in electronic health records as directed by therapists

•Collaborate with team members to enhance patient care through effective communication and support

•Observe and report in patient conditions to assist in treatment adjustments.

•Engage in continuous learning opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in physical therapy practices.

•Follow all HIPAA rules and regulations regarding patient confidentiality.

•Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interventions, progress notes, and billing information in electronic medical records.

•Implement patient care under supervision of the Physical Therapist in a home health or community setting for pediatric caseload.

•Assist with execution of treatment plans as developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.

•Utilize a variety of techniques to include therapeutic exercises, developmental activities, gait training and neuromuscular reeducation as per plan of care.

•Recommend and assist with adaptive equipment as needed to improve a patient’s functional needs

•Provide education with HEP and proper use of DME equipment and assistive devices with families

•Help children to use equipment safely and effectively

•Demonstrate proficiency in EMR system, documenting patient progress and tolerance each treatment.

•Schedule and manage therapy session logistics.
