  • Makes final reviews and recommends acceptance or denial of all Large Flow Systems plans, specifications, application, variance requests and modifications of onsite sewage systems with regards to design construction submitted to the DCEP to assure compliance with appropriate laws, rules and/or policies without valid trends of inconsistency.
  • Conducts onsite engineer training so that environmental staff is current on all necessary information and procedures, informed of changes in rules, policies, and procedures, and actions are implemented without valid complaint as determined by the Bureau Director.
  • Provides interpretation concerning the onsite rules and answer questions received from the general public, local health department and regulated industry without valid complaints and no valid trend of inconsistency.
  • Assists environmental supervisory staff out in the field on unusual or exceptional situations such that proper services are rendered and problems are resolved without valid trends of inconsistency.
  • Responds to emergency and disaster assignments when called to duty so that instructions are followed and there are no valid complaints.
