I was awarded heart of a hero in 2024

I was awarded heart of a hero in 2024

I was awarded this honor because I expedited testing for a patient when he had seen multiple doctors and no one was taking him serious.  He was diagnosed with severe heart blockage and needed 3 cardiac stents.  I listened to him and was compassionate.  I felt he had a cardiac crisis and made sure he got all his testing ASAP.   I have done many things for patients when others disregard their symptoms.  I go above and beyond for every patient.   Recently, a patient was scheduled for an appointment in office.  They called with concerning symptoms.  I offered them to come straight in.  Then received a call from his wife with a new symptom within a few minutes.  I advised her to call 911 now.  He actually had a complete heart block.  I treat every patient as a family member.  I try to do everything I can for them in a timely manner.
