- Responsible for getting the patient ready for their procedure including preop testing, labs, and medical/surgical history review
- IV placement and administration of perioperative medications as indicated
- Review of surgical and anesthesia consent along side of Anesthesiologist
- PACU- Full assessment of patient upon arrival including vital signs and surgical site assessment
- Administration of postoperative medications as indicated
- Monitoring the patient to determine when patient is stable enough for transfer or discharge
