  • We would also facilitate labs so our mentees were able to work with (for example) obtaining latent fingerprints using basic fingerprint kits, create footwear impressions and then cast them, use color test kits to see color changes that would presumptively show the presence of possible drug(s), and a mock crime scene reconstruction exercise was done so that our mentees could facilitate and see how they would handle a crime scene (all done with our help and guidance).
