Leilianis Irigoyen

As a dedicated student-athlete approaching graduation in May, I have honed a strong work ethic, time management, and leadership skills that I believe would make me a valuable asset to the City of Norfolk internship program. My experiences balancing academic coursework with athletic commitments have cultivated a high level of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. Additionally, through various team-based projects and community outreach initiatives, I have developed excellent communication and problem-solving skills, all of which I am eager to apply in a public service setting. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to Norfolk’s growth and community well-being while gaining hands-on experience in local government and civic engagement.

• During my 4 years on the Women's Varsity Soccer team I learned how to work with a team, manage my time and develop my craft. Becoming a regular starter required consistency and hard work which testifies to my ability to learn and listen.
