My duties included hosting a weekday morning talk show on WLKF, 96.7 FM & 1430 AM.
I was the morning news anchor, producing one-minute newscasts that run from 6am through noon.
I also produced weekly public affairs programming.
Researched and analyzed newsworthy events, trends and issues.

I was responsible for proofreading and editing scripts then editing video for air on the weekday morning and midday newscasts.
I assisted crews in the field and tuned in satellite shots to receive additional content for the newscasts.
I was also responsible for maintaining the database of all edited stories from every newscast during my shift.
Prior to the editing job in Tampa, I was the Polk County photojournalist. Sometimes solo, and other times working with a reporter, I was responsible for responding to news events and capturing video and sound for broadcast.
Traveled to many locations to capture breaking news for broadcast.

I hosted a morning radio show 5 days a week on the American Forces Korea Network, Camp Humphreys, Korea.

I was honorably discharged from the service in November of 1990.
