I am a highly motivated student pursuing a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Photonics and Material Science. I have gained valuable experience through two distinct internships with companies focusing on FPGA-based and RF-based technologies. Throughout these internships, I actively contributed to numerous projects, encompassing tasks such as hands-on utilization of lab equipment, project conception, circuit design and analysis, data acquisition, product testing, and generating comprehensive lab reports. My experience as a Transfer Leader and Event Organizer at UCSD has honed my communication and leadership abilities. I maintain a constant eagerness to refine practical skills, seek out challenges that enrich my knowledge, and cultivate collaborative proficiency within the field of Electrical Engineering.
• Utilize hands-on experience with RF measurement equipment to verify the operational effectiveness of Antenna Tuning Switch devices. This involves assessing various parameters, such as harmonics, S-parameters, and both DC and AC characteristics.
• Responsible for ensuring successful characterization of new products, defining production test plans, and launching new products into high-volume production.
• Define experiments to study product performance and capabilities, analyze test and characterization data to identify performance issues or show product meets marketing requirements.
• Support failure analysis investigations and draft report on customer returns and yield-affecting failure patterns.
• Investigated novel applications for integrated FPGA-based test and measurement platforms through research initiatives.
• Engineered a digital phase-locked loop (PLL) on an FPGA-based platform, fine-tuning parameters for optimal FM radio demodulation.
• Designed and fabricated a Blood Oxygen Pulse Sensor using op-amp circuits and a photodiode.
• Developed and presented four electrical engineering circuit laboratory projects, showcasing active op-amp circuits for marketing purposes.
• Compiled comprehensive technical documentation and application notes, and shared findings in company-wide technical discussions.
• Conduct testing, modifications, and the development of answer keys for linear system circuit laboratory manuals.
• Uphold laboratory safety standards by instructing on equipment usage and proper techniques.
• Assist students in achieving learning objectives by addressing questions related to course materials.
• Collaborated within a team to organize and facilitate professional career workshops tailored for 130+ recently admitted transfer engineering students.
• Offered mentorship and guidance to support students in their career development endeavors.
