- Prepare the client and tray for the stylist, I have learned the small things count so much! Taking the clients jacket, protecting them with stainguard (because who likes any evidence?), putting sweet n low in their formula. Overall making the client feel comfortable
- Chatting with the client, I have learned that a client stylist relationship is so important, it dives deeper than just a service. You get to really know somebody and what they’re going through, it even helps you navigate things during the consultation.
- I worked the same schedule as the stylist I was assisting, so I became to get to know the regulars and the schedule, made it easy to book clients for their future appointments.
- I shampooed each and every client because who doesn’t love a good thorough shampoo and head massage
- Depict when highlights/ color is done processing and I would tone whether that be a sunkissed blonde or a color correction that requires 3+ toners
- I would style the clients, it’s so important to ask the client what they want because it’s the finished product! I love doing bouncy blowouts or loose beach waves.

- Fast paced but Efficient, My boss and I can see up to 20-30 people a day (he does barber cuts and women’s cuts/color), it’s important to be fast in the environment I was in but also do the job well!!
