Work History

Head Men's Soccer Coach

WENATCHEE VALLEY COLLEGE
03.2023 - Current

  • This position was God given. Was unemployed with everyone saying "work a real job", understanding that others have given up on themselves, the response was always "no, I want to be around the game I love". Doors opened in another city with a coaching position. Packed up and moved the same day to follow this opportunity. Learned to stick to what I believe in, and coaching has helped guide and shape new abilities to be prepared for what's next.
  • Have always told my college players that "you have to fight for your dreams because they are yours to achieve in this short life". Leading by example and pursuing my dream is the way to prove that.
  • Balanced day job, coaching, family, and playing to do what I love in a professional matter.
  • Learned and understand there is more to the game, and was able to see football in another perspective which has enhanced learning, and love for the game.
  • Evaluated game footage to identify opportunities for tactical adjustments and targeted training sessions.
  • Studied positions, and what is expected for each play style.
  • Worked day job, then coached sessions, then drove to semi pro trainings to compete make the squad roster for games. (This was the routine for several months)
  • Made it to playoffs for the first time since 2019.
  • Realized the responsibilities of a coach, and the blessing it is to be able to do this job.

SEMI-PRO SOCCER PLAYER

WENATCHEE ALL STARS FC
03.2024 - 07.2024

  • POSITION: CENTRAL MIDFIELDER, RIGHT WING
  • STATS: 4 GOALS, 5 ASSISTS
  • First season with this Semi-pro team not winning a title. Didn't even make playoffs and had a lot of cancelled games. Character, loyalty, and integrity were tested and knew that I had to be even more committed, and work even harder when things weren't going the team's way. Rough season, but grateful since there was more growth.
  • My second child was born towards the end of this season.

SEMI-PRO SOCCER PLAYER

WENATCHEE ALL STARS FC
02.2023 - 07.2023

  • POSITION: CENTRAL DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER
  • STATS: 4 GOALS, 2 ASSISTS
  • CPL Champions, but lost 3 finals this year
  • Faith was severely tested, and learned that the most powerful things in life are faith, mind, and one's choice when faced with adversity. Realized mentality is everything and one can either make excuses or believe in themselves and dreams. Truly blessed to have experienced this year.

SEMI-PRO SOCCER PLAYER

WENATCHEE ALL STARS FC
01.2022 - 08.2022

  • POSITION: CENTRAL MIDFIELDER
  • STATS: 4 GOALS, 3 ASSISTS
  • Learned that hard work and sacrifice do pay off in due time. There is a reward for every tribulation.
  • Got bad thigh injury from dirty foul in game late season, did own rehab and make it back to starting eleven in semifinals, then started in final against pro side Bay Cities fc to win NISA CUP.
  • Also, the time frame when I got married, and when my first child was born. Truly life changing time and this only elevated my desire to accomplish my dream in the correct form.

SEMI-PRO SOCCER PLAYER

HIGH DESERT ELITE FC
09.2021 - 11.2021
  • POSITION: CENTRAL MIDFIELDER, RIGHT WING
  • STATS: 1 GOAL, 2 ASSISTS
  • After semi pro season ended in Washington for the Wenatchee All Stars, I worked, saved up money, and flew back to California mid-season to play with former team. Season was cut short and the team folded out of the blue due to financial issues. Back to Square one.

SEMI-PRO SOCCER PLAYER

WENATCHEE ALL STARS FC
06.2021 - 08.2021

  • POSITION: RIGHT WING
  • STATS: 1 GOAL, 2 ASSISTS
  • Came in as a mid season transfer after season with High Desert Elite FC in California ended. Fought for starting spot which was obtained and kept.

SEMI-PRO SOCCER PLAYER

HIGH DESERT ELITE FC
01.2021 - 06.2021

  • POSITIONS: RIGHT WING
  • STATS: 1 GOAL
  • Tough season as only one game was won, and individually struggled as well. Was a great place to learn the hardships and adversity a footballer needs to experience physically and mentally, if wanting to be prepared for the journey of a footballer. Super glad this rough chapter happened.

COVID YEAR

2020
01.2020 - 12.2020
  • SELF TRAINING AND AMATEUR FOOTBALL,
  • Played in tournaments in other states ( Wisconsin, WA, Nevada)

SOCCER PLAYER

LEGANES C (PRO RESERVES)
01.2019 - 12.2019

  • POSITIONS: CENTRAL MIDFIELDER, RIGHT WING, LEFT BACK
  • STATS: 3 GOALS, 3 ASSISTS
  • Learned the business side of football, the beauty of football abroad, and the true lessons every footballer needs. Experienced many different great coaches with different styles. Despite the achievements accomplished, mentally as a footballer there was work to be done and this place highlighted that there is more to learn and overcome. Grateful for this experience and still use what was learned to guide young college players and myself.

UNIVERSITY SOCCER PLAYER

INDIANA UNIVERSITY EAST
08.2018 - 09.2018

  • POSITION: CENTRAL MIDFIELDER
  • STATS: 1 GOAL, 3 ASSISTS IN 3 GAMES THEN LEFT.
  • Was promised and shown that I was on a full ride to play for that program, but when there, had a gut feeling to check for myself and it wasn't that way. Would have honestly stayed and struggled if I didn't have to pay 20k out of pocket. Knew it was the best decision to leave and say no even when it meant not having a team.
  • Learned I was willing to take risks and opportunities even when they were far away, and learned to make hard decisions about football in my playing career.

SEMI-PRO SOCCER PLAYER

TRI-CITY ALLIANCE FC
02.2018 - 07.2018

  • POSITION: RIGHT WING
  • STATS: 6 GOALS, 1 ASSIST
  • Was recruited to play for the first semi pro team in Tri cities while living in another city.
  • Learned to sacrifice. Sacrifice time, friends, and even self to go after an opportunity that may get me closer to my dream. It was a hard time outside of football, but was able to focus on my objective and have a great season individually.
  • Realized that my dream to play outweighs the sufferings of life.

COLLEGE SOCCER PLAYER

WENATCHEE VALLEY COLLEGE
08.2016 - 06.2018

  • POSITION: MIDFIELDER
  • STATS: 12 GOALS, 15 ASSISTS
  • Wanted to leave home and experience living on my own to follow a dream. Was tested physically and mentally. Experienced first REAL injury (Ankle Sprain) which led to unplayed games. With patience, work, and determination, I saw myself back in the starting eleven. Despite the injury, a great season was accomplished. Learned that pain or suffering is just another opportunity to learn and grow as a person, and that the desire to help the team was worth the risk of further injury.

HS SOCCER PLAYER

CONNELL HIGH SCHOOL
09.2012 - 06.2016

  • POSITION: MIDFIELDER, STRIKER
  • STATS: 30 GOALS, 45 ASSISTS

CLUB SOCCER PLAYER

THREE RIVERS SOCCER CLUB
09.2012 - 04.2016

  • POSITION: FORWARD
  • STATS: 14 goals, 4 assists
  • Treated as a bench player, which forged a desire to push myself and prove a point. Scored many goals despite hardly ever starting. Had tough coaches, but never gave up. Was a great foundation to the mental strength possessed today.
