ALTERNATE DIRECTOR OF QUALITY ASSURANCE
* In the absence of the Director, the Alternate Director of Quality Assurance will be responsible for development and ongoing evaluation of the agency’s Quality Improvement Program/Infection Control Program.
* In the absence of the Director, the Alternate Director of Quality Assurance will be responsible to develop and evaluate ongoing updates of clinical policies and procedures.
* Assist in the preparing agency of state survey.
* Assist Human Resource Director in maintaining clerical competency records of all licensed personnel.
* Remain an active member of the Advisory Board and prepare annual meeting agenda/minutes.
*Ensure agency is in compliance with state regulations in providing patient care.
* Review OASIS documentation as requested by the Director of Quality Assurance.
* Participate in Case Conferences as requested by the Director of Quality Assurance.
* Teach and update agency staff on policies and procedures affecting the daily operations of the agency.
* Participate in QA programs as needed.
* Is responsible to the agency Administrator.
* Conducts themselves as a role model for the agency staff.
* Employee will follow polices and procedures safeguarding the privacy of patients protected health information.
