  • Assisted Director of Hospitality in converting property to Infor HMS. Previously having Visual1 HMS with no updates installed or contracted. This transition allowed the hotel to reduce check in times by 3 minutes. Also impacting ease of reporting for finance and auditing.
  • Created and revised budgets for 6 departments in 300 room resort hotel and 74 room satelite hotel.
  • Created full year sales promo for advertisement.
  • Created and implemented a leadership program in 2022. Focused on developing and promoting internal talent. 20 total employees have entered the program.
  • Implementation of Mobile housekeeping feature and express check in.
  • Successfully converted the property to P&G products for back of house laundry. Creating a 10% decrease in CPOR in laundry supplies. While increasing the teams confidence and impacting guest satisfaction.
  • Re-organized the management team for more support and leadership visibility. Impacting employee retention by 20%.

  • Gen 1 property and it had its challenges. Hotel was overdue for renovation by 2 years. Through investing in department teams, hotel stayed in top 3 in Islands 10 Hyatt properties.
  • Hyatt brand expert for Island. Constantly invested in understanding and implementing brand updates and changes.
  • Anticipating COVID impact and able to find work for all team members impacted. This was before layoffs began.

  • Increased experience in understanding and learning many skills. Successful in finding alternate ways to keep creativity and investment of staff during tough and slow times.

  • Brought hotel to Green status from RED status within 8 months according to IHG brand standards.
  • Achieved this by creating succession growth plan for employees and moving employees into key roles.
  • Hotel grew revenue naturally YOY but greatest impact was relationship created with Texas Tech University. Successful in securing athletic department after multiple sales calls and meetings. This was significant as hotel did not have Director of Sales budgeted while still having very strong sales goal YOY.
  • Opportunity for promotion and was very happy to help success of current Front office Manager and was able to implement succession plan to promote to General Manager.
  • Achieved only adjusted bonus in Ownership group in 2019. Ownership had 15 limited service extended stay hotels at time.
  • General Manager Ambassador as well. Traveled across United States to onboard new General Managers. This was due to success of home hotel.

  • Ability to be opening General Manager. This brought opportunity to learn many skills in opening process as well as grand opening impact.
  • Brought hotel into Ambassador status by IHG Standards.
