- I have been the section leader for the low brass at BPHS for the past 2 years now. Ever since I was a sophomore I was put into a position with high responsibility and I didn't shy down from it; I took the courage, and as a second year member I was able to grow as a player and a leader

- As the assistant drum major for the BPHS, quite a lot of pressure was placed on me. As a junior, being put into this position was a great honor and I really attempted to do my best with my fellow band members. Helping others was something I tried to do throughout the year, small or big. I was somebody a member could go to and ask for help.

- The role of a teacher assistant is more than you may believe. Besides the job of passing out slips around the school to the designated students, we also help out in the front office and in the library, doing jobs no one else would have done. We organize sets of papers and help set up for upcoming events, making sure what our school needs is ready just for them.
