
Over the past 30 years, I've worked extensively in pre-hospital EMS, in the hospital setting and in Hospice. I've provided pre-hospital emergency care in EMS and assisted physicians and nurses in community hospital Emergency Departments.
In the past decade my work has involved primarily On-Call RN visits and triage after hours and on weekends providing care to hospice patients in the residential and health-care facility settings.
Multiple roles including On-Call Triage and Visit nurse. Also Admission RN role over recent two years.
Performed as a member of the hospice inter-disciplinary team collaborating with facility nurses and caregivers in the residential setting.
Provided Triage services to Anthem members calling in to the 24/7 Nurseline for medical guidance.
Operated under established triage protocols to provide appropriate clinical recommendations based on caller descriptions of signs/symptoms related to various illnesses, injury.
Provided referrals to Case Management team for improved overall wellness based on assessment findings for clients with chronic health conditions.
