Writing out JSA's and doing a tailboard in the mornings before performing work

Keeping accurate records of all material installed to be submitted into the system
Making changes to jobs when needed and communicating changes to PEC
Coordinating with PEC personnel when working together to ensure good communication and teamwork
Pulling in new URD primary and secondary cable
Use of good rigging techniques to pull cable
Framing and grounding all URD equipment
Building pedestals with multiple meter sockets if needed
Installing UJs in all the required equipment
Building single, two, and three phase risers
Covering up energized Overhead lines to prevent accidental contact when building risers
Install of air break switches and MVI switched when called for on the job
Termination of primary cable for risers with various sized primary
Following all specs when installing any equipment and risers
Cover up of existing URD when switching to prevent accidental contact
Cover up existing URD when making terminations in hot boxes
Energizing new subdivisions when the job is complete
Coordinating with PEC dispatch before energizing to make sure the line is clear of any One Shots
Inform PEC dispatch of equipment tag and feeder we will be working off when energizing new work
Coordinating with PEC dispatch when executing any switching orders or scheduled outages
Using good professional communication skills with customers when working scheduled outages
Professional communication skills with developers during new construction install and providing accurate timelines of job completion
Tagging out new and existing URD lines and keeping accurate records of equipment tags and tagging
Assisting Overhead crews on storm restoration trips
Digging holes to set new poles with boom truck of by hand
Framing poles to spec
Use of a boom truck or pressure digger for changing out old or broken poles
Splicing any downed Overhead wire and bringing it back up
Tying in and clipping in Overhead lines
Tamping all newly set poles and making sure poles are plumb
Guying and anchoring poles
Climbing poles to assist Overhead crews when needed on storm restoration
Traveling to various states in harsh conditions to help restore power
Construction of new feeders out of the Bee Creek Substation
Use of a mini excavator to trench and install or repair URD
Use of hand tools to expose any marked utilities within 24 inches of locates
Calling in locates for any excavation project
Install of new conduit for proposed URD lines
Forming concrete pads to spec for various pieces of equipment such as enclosures, padmount transformers, and switch gears
Installing conduit in forms that meet spec requirements in order to pour concrete
Operation of switch gears to energize newly installed 600 amp lines
Operation of switch gears when working different switching orders
Isolation of manholes and vaults to pull in new URD and make connections to existing line
Wrecking out old Overhead lines, equipment, and poles
Transferring Overhead to Underground for newly built subdivisions
Maintaining all crew equipment and doing pre-trip inspections in the morning
Team leadership and planning of jobs to ensure good completion timing
Training of new employees with hands on approach
Showing crew members proper safety protocol to ensure good understanding
Step by step explanation of switching orders to make sure all crew members were on the same page
Assigning each crew member specific tasks to complete
Showing a good understanding and offering constructive criticism when crew member is under performing

Checking all completed work by crewmembers to ensure it was done correctly
