  • Management used my experience in safety to train all employees in the safety aspects of the plant. It was up to me to find training materials and put them into handouts/training material that would be used throughout the plant. These training sessions would happen on every 1st Thursday of the month.
  • We had special training for effected employees, where they were directly involved in the area that was being worked on.
  • I formed a team to do safety checks and to review accidents, then presented our findings and suggestions to management.
  • Oversaw hazardous waste disposal and record keeping.
