Industrial/ commercial electrical at Intel
New construction
120/208v, 277/480v-600v normal, critical, and emergency power
Read work plans to terminate switch gears, distribution panels, transformers, DBoard panels from wire size #300-#600 wires, LOTO, install breaker circuits, install low/ high voltage electric panels for branch circuits and lighting panels, build raceways for wires and emt/ rigid emt, run cable tray, run/bend emt and metal rigid emt from 3/4"-4" using a hand bender for 3/4"-1 1/4" emt or a triple nickel from sizes 1 1/2"-4" emt, and have an apprentice by my side to hit our work requirements daily
Ground and bond, fill out paper work, train my apprentices, and still delivering quality and repetition work daily on the 1st (electric room) and 2nd floor (clean room.)
Performed 0 voltages for the entire first floor (utility), on branch panels, 120/208V three-phase systems, and also on distribution panels, from 480V up to 600V three-phase systems. NFPA 70E trained.
I was part of the startup/commissioning crew. I was in charge of making sure all equipment was clear of any debris, dust, and materials. I used a borescope camera to look inside areas the eye couldn't see. Once all is clear inside the transformer, distribution panel, or branch panel, LotusWorks (third-party intel worker) would start up the equipment, and I would verify the voltage on the equipment using a 40 cal suit and a calibrated multimeter.
