Leonard Thurman III

Jacksonville,FL

Summary

I have a unique professional arc from studying and teaching dance at a top national institution to becoming and serving as a Aviator in the US Navy. My grandfather used to tell me I am capable of anything as long as I set my mind to it and I have spent a lot of time proving that. While I still love dance and spend a lot of time dancing around the world, I am fascinated and consumed by the world of aviation. Despite the extreme challenge it presents, I am equal to the challenge and rise to meet it. From my time running crews in 7th FLEET to pursuing my pilot certificate on my own power, my sure plan of continuing to work as a pilot in the industry is on my mind, heart, and soul.
