Renaissance Artist
- At the age of 14, I began an apprenticeship with Andrea del Verrochio in Florence. During this time, I learned a lot of technical skills, which included drawing, painting, sculpting, and metalworking. This experience played a very crucial role in the development of my artistic abilities.
- After my apprenticeship, I worked in Florence for a few years and collaborated with Verrochio to produce the “Baptism of Christ”.
- In 1482, I went under the service of Ludovico Sforza for 17 years. During this time, I created some of my most famous works, one of those being “The Last Supper”.
- After working with Sforza, I worked in many cities including Venice, Rome, and Bologna as an architect.
- In 1516, I moved to France to continue working on my artwork, and this is where I spent the last years of my life.
