  • Senegalese Catholic Women in the USA | Secaw, In November 2019, I founded a Facebook group for Senegalese Catholic women in the United States. Drawing from my experiences as an immigrant, a woman, and a mother, I recognized the immense potential of joining forces to establish a strong support network. This group aims to provide emotional support, foster networking opportunities, and empower each other through shared experiences. Additionally, we are committed to extending our support to our families and communities back home in Senegal. With an active membership of 200 women, we have cultivated a sense of unity and purpose. Each member contributes a minimum of $10 monthly, and collectively, we generate a significant amount of $2,000 monthly to fund various projects in Senegal. These initiatives have ranged from educational programs and healthcare assistance to community development projects. Over the past five years, our group has grown more substantial and impactful, and we remain dedicated to making a meaningful difference within our community in the USA and in our homeland. Our commitment to mutual support and philanthropic efforts is a testament to what can be achieved when we come together with a common purpose.
  • Thetoucher.com, Entrepreneurial and passionate founder of Toucher, an online business dedicated to using premium African ingredients for creating exceptional skincare, haircare, and aromatic products. Harnessing the natural richness of Shea Butter, Baobab Oil, Egyptian Jasmine, and other potent elements, I developed a unique, cruelty-free, parabens-free, phthalates-free product line that nourishes, rejuvenates the skin, grows the hair, and captivates the senses with our diffusers and room sprays. Toucher is ISO certified and committed to quality, sustainability, and ethical practices, blending traditional wisdom with modern formulation techniques. As a sustainable company that cares deeply about the environment, we strive to deliver luxurious, effective solutions while uplifting African heritage and supporting local communities, bringing a touch of the exotic into everyday life and enhancing wellness and beauty.
  • Human Right Club, I established a Human Rights Club with my Senegalese students in response to the pressing issues many of them were facing, such as forced marriage, female genital mutilation, early pregnancy, and unsafe abortion. Through this club, we aimed to provide a supportive environment where students could learn about their rights, discuss their challenges openly, and advocate for their well-being. The club served as a platform for raising awareness and empowered students to take action against these injustices and educate others in their communities.
