Manage day-to-day operations in the Station Operations Center at the San Francisco International Airport Hub for United Airlines. Responsible for coordinating analysis and communication of field conditions during irregular operations. Primary liaison with Network Operations Center Director regarding real time updates to the station schedule and notable flight-level events.

Make tactical decisions as needed and escalate significant operational challenges to the Station Operations Center Manager. Serves as the primary management control oversight of gate planning, provide consistent operational updates with all departments, service partners and external agencies. Primary liaison with Network Operations Center Dispatch and Aircraft Fleet Managers regarding real time updates to notable flight-level events. Pro-actively resolve operational issues including but not limited to security, customer service, baggage & cargo handling, vendor servicing, dispatch and payload planning through pro-active planning, communication and risk management analysis for On-Time performance. Mentored junior team members for career advancement, fostering a pipeline of future leaders within the organization.

Collaborate with internal and external work groups to streamline regular operations, and recover from irregular operations. Made decisions and recommendations for aircraft gating, task sequencing, and mid-level manpower allocation to optimize operational integrity. Facilitated the flow of information to provide front-line employees with support, and balance the needs of the Network with the local-level challenges.

Provide guidance and advisory as well as assisting with continuity of company policies and coordination with FAA. Participate in consultation groups & committees with various agencies for developing concepts for future construction, equipment, procedures, etc. Maintain adequate staffing levels to insure safe & efficient operations. Advertise, recruit, interview, and hire as necessary. Monitor employee performance. Conduct annual performance reviews, and suggest compensation adjustments accordingly. Maintain accurate and timely payroll submissions.
