Activities

  • I am passionate about serving people through volunteer work! I've very much enjoyed being a part of several non-profits in and around my hometown, dedicated to providing nourishment and seeing to the many needs of the homeless community and others. In the past, I have also given my time to Wings of Hope, an equitherepy facility that serves the special needs community by working hands on with the horses and riders as a side walker and leader.
  • Yoga - I am currently seeking a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification as well as other related ceritications via online classes.

  • The great outdoors - this is where I thrive, connecting with nature! Living in Austin has been incredible with the hundreds of parks, trails, rivers, and lakes available within and surrounding the weird little city. Most often, you will find me out hiking, biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, and camping with my cattle dog, Finnegan.
  • I have spent time working on an urban farm and greatly enjoy connecting with the earth. I recently grew an herb garden of my own with much success - fresh herbs just makes food taste better!
  • I enjoy cooking and experimenting in the kitchen - creating a variety of delicious plant-based meals.
  • I adore retro decor, specifically from the 1970s and love to hunt for unique finds at thrift stores and yard sales.
