Leslie Fields

I am eager to apply my expertise as an ELD teacher dedicated to children's educational needs and development. I have experience in presenting comprehensive lesson plans, knowledge of teaching best practices, and assessing and recording student progress. I am an enthusiastic educator with over 30 years of experience instructing students with a wide range of learning abilities. I began my teaching journey as a Certified ESOL teacher in Washington, DC Public School System in August, 1993. I transferred to Fairfax County Public in School System in August, 2000. and worked for FCPS until August, 2007.

I began working for PGCPS at Lewisdale Elementary August 18,2007 and continued there until July, 2010. I transferred to Cherokee Lane Elementary School. I worked as an ELD teacher at this school from July 3, 2010 - July 1, 2012. I am presently working at Mary Harris Mother Jones ELementary. I have been at this school for almost twelve years.
