  • Use of Force (UOF) Coordinator. Review, analyze and maintain UOF Incident Report Tracking (IRT's), staff supplemental reports and/or packages to monitor compliance with the UOF Policy. Develops and maintains a tracking and logging system for the IRT's. Reviews and analyzes videotapes of incidents, cell extractions and inmate interviews pertaining to UOF incidents within procedural timeframes for consistency with UOF Policy. Make recommendations, based on sound analysis, for the determination of the appropriateness of the UOF. Report findings for review and prepare recommendations to the Warden, Chief Deputy Warden and the Institutional Executive Review Committee (IERC). Responsible for reviewing and maintaining the institutional Operations Procedures (OP's) and Department Operational Manual (DOM) Supplements which requires researching, gathering, compiling and analyzing data, via the California Code of Regulations, Title 15, DOM and various OP's. Additionally, track and plan the DOM's and OP's revisions to ensure time constraints are achieved. Maintain and update monthly COMPSTAT report by compiling and preparing statistical data to Headquarters. Participate in training staff on the UOF Policy changes.
