  • Attend monthly agency meetings to educate staff on the EMR system and future Oasis updates. Provide staff with agency financials, and explain clinical documentation's effect on reimbursement.
  • Review of all agency contracts with insurance providers and vendors. Price negotiation, as needed, to increase revenue or cost savings.
  • Oversight of all aspects of agency billing. Provide assistance to the billing specialist with the resolution of chart issues, claim denials, and unsigned orders. Work closely with the HCHB Revenue Cycle Services team to increase net collections by timely filing, visit authorizations, clinical documentation completion, and decrease aging AR with prompt attention to chart corrections and invoice write-offs when needed.
  • Audit and approve all agency monthly invoices for payment. Analyze charges for areas of potential cost savings for the agency, and reconcile with the fiscal year budget.
  • Agency Fleet Manager of 30 vehicles. Work closely with Enterprise to ensure vehicle maintenance is up to date, and report accidents to the insurance carrier. Schedule car repairs and provide alternate transportation for clinicians.
