  • Serve as Academic Administrator for all academic actions and inquiries (graduate, undergraduate, majors, minors, and concentrators). Serve as liaison between graduate students and Graduate School.
  • Proficient in Mainframe. Responsible for accurately maintaining curriculum and registration for all programs and departments. Load courses, instructors, and special topics while adhering to University regulations and deadlines. Assists faculty with room change requests, adding students, and adjusting enrollment maxima. Override students into courses that are full which are designated as permission of instructor/department. Maintain files of all reports distributed by Registrar's Office.
  • Serve as Student Employment Partner in Workday. Responsible for HR actions in Workday for student workers and graduate assistants including hiring, onboarding, job continuations, compensation adjustments, separations, new positions, and requisitions. Supervises, trains, and assigns job duties for student workers. Ensures all student employees document work time correctly and are paid correctly and timely. Maintain fund balance for each student to ensure funding limitation is not exceeded. Serves as additional liaison to Graduate School.
  • Developed and supervised Student Ambassador position to help promote program courses, activities, and accomplishments, both internally and externally, to boost recruitment and retain diverse student body.
  • Analyzed budgets and implemented financial plans for academic programs and related events. Trained to complete requisitions, expense reports, and la carte card.
  • Represent College of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS); Department of African and African American Studies (AAAS) and Interdisciplinary Studies at community and campus events
