  • Analyze accounts/data to determine trends, using Business Objects and Microsoft Excel, to implement new procedures and to identify bad debt to send to Collections agencies. Complete RFPs for new Collections agencies.
  • Create all student tax forms (1098-T Tuition tax forms) and ensure information is communicated to students and to the IRS by each year's deadline.
  • Coordinate with Financial Aid and Accounts Payable departments to process weekly student refunds, based on Title IV refund policies, institutional financial aid practices, and cash management best practices.
  • Create the infrastructure for the system's billing, including building/testing rate tables for specific tuition programs and refund formulas, using Ellucian Colleague.
  • Perform exception customer service while administering special past due payment plans to assist students, with varying circumstances, to be able to register.
  • Administer all third-party billing and institute policies for delinquent payments.
  • Monitor/reconcile all tuition payments.
