I have over 22 years of experience in the construction industry and a pround union member of local #1( bricklayers and allied craftworkers). I have been appointed by my union as shop steward on construction sites. My responsibilities as a shop steward was to defend the interest of my fellow employees as well as make sure the construction site was a safe environment for the employees to work at. I have also been appointed Forman on construction sites. I was responsible for being the point of contact between the construction workers and superintendents. Coordinate task for the day. Create schedules for the workers. Oversee the quality of the site and manage the material budget.
