• Assists Cardiac Electrophysiologists in the performance of EP Lab procedures by: analyzing electrocardiograph data, perform program stimulation of the heart, induce and terminate cardiac arrhythmia by overdrive pacing or DC cardioversion, apply energy to catheters for purposes of arrhythmia ablation
• Setting up sterile tables, assists in the application of sterile drapes, hands sterile instruments and sutures to the physician during the procedure, performs after-care of surgical instruments

• Performing therapeutic procedures such as I&D, splinting, suturing, managing infection, staples and wound care
• Providing quality CPR, assisting with airway management, and assisting with intubations
• Operate equipment, such as electrocardiograms (EKGs), external defibrillators, or bag valve mask resuscitators, in advanced life support environments
• Adjusting crutches, canes, braces, slings, post op shoes and splints to fit patients
• Ability to start IV lines, blood collection, basic medications and fluid administration
• Proper application of aseptic techniques in dressing changes and setting up surgical fields
• Responsible for suture removal, staple removal, and dressing changes including unna boot application
