Leadership Experience

As a team leader, I must be able to work with different personalities and bring them together to accomplish tasks. I have always worked well with others and believe in the idea that a good leader leads by example. I have been Lead Teacher, Coordinator for National Honor Society, Summer TSI Instructor, PLC Lead Teacher, and SSI Presenter. I have also led data meetings, curriculum writing, attendance meetings with parents, SSI meetings, and grade level meetings. For 5 years, I was a RTA: Reading Technical Assistant, providing over 500 hours of Research based and Effective Instruction. I was responsible for overseeing 3 School Districts and assisting them through trainings and data meetings. I have also presented on DMAC and TEKS Resource System to my peers. I am also a TELPAS Rater.

Communication Skills

I have had the privilege to work under some extraordinary leaders who have provided me with skills for my profession. As a teacher, I have been assigned as Lead teacher for several years. In addition, I worked with districts as a presenter, a reading coach, and mentor in assisting them to succeed as a district. I have always been able to problem solve and work together with everyone.
