- Responsible for maintaining a safe, predictable and therapeutic environment for children in care at The Orchard School
- Provides close supervision, counseling, and support to the children during the school day
- Ensures that the basic needs of children are met, and that the school is maintained in a safe, orderly, predictable, therapeutic, structured and clean condition
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team which includes teachers, certified teaching assistants, support staff, social workers and other professionals
- Actively participates in employee surveys, focus groups and staff meetings
- Participates in therapeutic restraints and performs other related direct care duties as required
