As a customer service representative my responsibilities included answering phone calls from customers about their garbage services and answering any questions they had regarding their services, accounts and invoices. I also was responsible for any money coming in to our transfer station and closing out the month and mailing out invoices. My job required much needed attention to detail when it came to service orders, weight tickets, invoicing and being able to communicate with customers.
I also helped with coverage for transfer station and dispatch when needed. At the transfer station I would create weight tickets for both billing and regular customers. For dispatch I would answer radio and phone calls from the drivers when assistance was needed and contacting customers when there was any issues while the driver was servicing them.
I have achieved being able to work with difficult customers. I also achieved success in making sure months were closed correctly without issues.
