Had the opportunity to participate in football, our freshman year we went 7-2. I also participated in wrestling, and track where I placed second in districts in shot put, and discus.
Last summer I had the opportunity to go to the San Juan Islands where we kayaked about 50 miles in 5 days this experience and many others helped me to have a healthy respect for the outdoors through activities such as hiking, camping, motorcycle riding, fishing, and hunting. In the fall of last year I was able to join a youth hunting trip that required a hunter safety training course and a field day to participate. I feel this experience demonstrates great responsibility and maturity.
