  • Responsibilities are complying with FCX drug and alcohol policies and assisting with the DNA for new hires and performing randoms for current employees.
  • I conduct or help conduct safety meetings in the morning to go over any PFEs or near misses not only within our organization but any that happened within Freeport organization or general safety practices such as PPE, proper job risk analysis documentation, or permit requirements to name a few.
  • I'm also part of a weekly safety audit team that conducts in depth audits for a predetermined active jobsite to go over everything from JRAs, PPE, Workplace exams to task training, MSHA documentation, and signed commitment to safety cards. we then review the findings the following day after putting together a power point presentation to address the issues with all the employees in the daily safety meeting.
