• Oversee entire production process of 6 reactors & multiple storage vessels.
• Supervise all processes, distillations & transfers.
• Experienced in charging & transferring all but not limited too: ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, toluene, solvents, resins, xylenes, etc.
• Operate Distributed Control System(DCS) to manufacture finished products.
• Troubleshoot issues within the process, DCS & machinery if any should arise.
• Manage workers and equipment within my process unit.
• Supervise production process. Ensure that my unit runs safely, efficiently and results in quality product.
• Control instruments and confirm they are running properly.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance efforts on equipment when needed.
• Issue lock out/tag out when needed. Supervise shutting down of process and process equipment.
• Issue various types of work permits pertaining to specific scope of maintenance that will be occurring.
• Employee training and development. Handling and transporting of various chemicals.
• work closely with supervisors and engineers to ensure quality of product.
• Review daily production schedule with management.

Accomplishments:

• Support Operator: Assisting senior operators on various tasks.
• Blend Unit Operator: Blended raw materials safely & efficiently to produce finish goods.
• Senior Board Operator: In charge of all manufacturing processes & maintenance shut downs with in my specific reaction unit.

• Maintain and troubleshoot operations equipment
• Inspect and load hopper cars at loading stations
• Skilled in organizing committees (i.e safety meeting, safety committee)
• Switch-person and Designated Trackmobile Operator
• Responsible for tracking hopper car inventory for the plant
• Interact with Union Pacific Railroad when railcars are being moved on or off site.
