As a plant utilities engineer II, I was a working supervisor responsible for daily operations and upkeep of the physical plant, supervising plant utilities engineers, and others, in the operation, preventitive maintence, troubleshooting,repair, testing and calibration of a wide variety of commercial/industrial grade mechanical and electrical equipment, providing heat, domestic cold and hot water, ventilation, air conditioning and electrical distribution to the facility in the most safe and efficient way possible. Equipment maintained included, but not limited too, 400 HP, fire tube boilers, large and small circulation pumps, heat exchangers, air handlers, exhaust fans, chillers, water softening systems, electric control systems and devices from 24vac through 480vac, portable and stationary emergency generators and air compressors.
