Hobbies and Interests

  • Athletic events, 5k’s, Hyrox, Half Marathons. I love it all! Setting goals and working towards them to then accomplish something you may have never thought possible is a feeling I will never get tired of.
  • Outdoor Activities, I love to be outside! Hiking, swimming, sunbathing with a good book. Connecting with nature in my free time is something I prioritize to take care of myself.
  • Baking, I’m no science junkie, but man I love baking! Sourdough and sweets are so delicious but they also give me something to look forward to and a way to unwind. Coming home to see how my 6-hour bulk fermentation went is always something I look forward to.

Extracurricular Activities

University Track and Field Athlete, This had long been a dream of mine and I consider it accomplished. My career as a college athlete was cut short due to injuries but the relationships and skills developed during my year of participation I will always carry with me. Baptist Campus Ministries, The BCM is home to many of my friends and far more happy memories. This was the first place that felt like home on campus and where I have found a few mentors. Gold Side Cheer, While I may not be able to Compete at the DI level I still manage to pick at my competitive bone. Coming from a high school cheer background I knew I would enjoy cheering on Gold Side. This has made me loud and proud! I am so proud to be a Montevallo student and I am proud to be a gold! Intramurals, Intramurals are a great outlet for being competitive as well. This taught me to be more of a team player and to work better with others.
