I was asked last August to help with a girls Wednesday night bible study called GEMS. I led the girls in worship with the fifth grade class at the beginning of our session then we split off into our assigned grade groups. We start with a bible lesson and group prayer requests then go into arts and crafts. Every month we do a service night where we organize a way to give back to our community going to different places to volunteer at.

I started in 2024 as a worship leader; after our worship ended, I went around to different classrooms helping with their craft session, bible study, and clean up. In 2025 I helped in a classroom leading bible study and helping the children during their craft times. This year I missed due to health reasons.

• led bible study sessions to foster children's understanding and appreciation of faith
• organized arts and crafts activities to engage children's creativity
• cleaned classroom after sessions to ensure readiness for next group of volunteers

From July 27th - 31st I attended Centrikid with my church as one of the team leaders. Every day we went to group services, afterwards I took the children to their assigned classrooms for their bible studies. During that time all of the leaders went over our lesson plans which we could incorporate our own engaging activities into. When the children were done with their group bible studies, we went over what they learned more in depth with our own lessons, then ended our sessions with group prayer. This week we saw five children from our church get saved. It was a huge blessing to be apart of.
