Accomplishments

  • Family Map: Java, Android, MySQL
    A family history application built with Android that utilizes a Java server and an SQL database. Implemented an API to clear, load, auto populate, and request family history data as well as registering and logging a user in. The application can filter/search one’s ancestry as well as display family data on an interactive map using the Google Maps API.
  • Tweeter: Java, Android, AWS
    A replica of Twitter built using Android as the front end/user interface and AWS for the back-end.
    AWS tools used include API Gateway for the endpoints, Lambda, SQS, S3, and DynamoDB. Implemented an API to post and delete messages, register and login users, and follow or unfollow other users.
