Ambitious pre-med student at Purdue University In West Lafayette IN, with a strong commitment to leadership, innovation, service, and teamwork. With proven abilities in many diverse fields including sports, robotics, debate, and theatre.
During my eight years competing in Vex Robotics, I learned how to be a part of an innovative team, building, programming, notebooking, and designing aspects of the robot each season. In 2023, my team won the largest robotics competition in the world, the Vex Robotics World Championship. I also started an educational YouTube channel to tutor robotics teams that lacked resources and mentorship, gaining my team international publicity and recognition in the VEX Robotics community. In my last year in the sport, I wrote and compiled a 664-page engineering-style notebook, recording all the stages of our design process throughout the season.
While in this position, I worked with the team to unload new stock, take full store inventories, keep the place looking professional, and perform my main duty as a cashier.
Initially, I was a cast member working with the production team to memorize my lines and nail the delivery, but later in 2024, I decided to be more of a behind-the-scenes supporter, working with the sound and lights.
I participated in one year of Lincoln-Douglas debate and two years of Public Forum team debate. Throughout the time I was debating, I utilized critical thinking, as well as working with the other school teams, to fully develop their cases.
