Mestek Machinery is a company that manufactures machines that create HVAC duct work and other components. As a welder I fabricated these proprietary machine frames and weldments.

• Welded in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Inspected welds and checked critical measurements to meet specifications.
• Checked square, plumb, and level of various weldments.
• Quality checked other welder's weldments.
• Repaired weldments not built to proper specification.
• Utilized blueprints and diagrams to compare finished products against design specifications.

• Prepared for assembly by positioning, aligning and securing parts using tools such as jigs and vises.

In March I started as a cold caller working several hours a week. starting in June I went door to door canvassing to many different types of voters to have candid and sincere conversations. I was the youngest employee at this company (aged 16 at the time) while at the same time being praised by my supervisor for being one of the most responsible and productive employees under his supervision.
