  • This position was a "Pilot Position", and I essentially created job responsibilities for myself after arriving. My mission was to streamline certain admin processes and improve office efficiency so that production recruiters could increase their numbers
  • During my time in this position, I assisted with the administrative functions of the recruiting office and participated in recruiting outreach.
  • Administrative functions: Secret government clearance screening, facilitation of background checks, implementation of microsoft teams functions
  • Outreach Responsibilities: Cold-calling potential candidates, establishing relationships with local groups, attending outreach events, tabling, small presentations
  • My Impact: Recruiting Office San Diego is now the #1 office in the entire Coast Guard, and was the first office to hit their 100% quota this fiscal year. No small feat considering the recruiting struggles in recent years. While I am no longer there, my processes continue to be carried out through my replacement.
