• Lubricated moving parts of propulsion engines and auxiliary equipment
• Pumped bilges, and cleaned strainers, filters,etc. Checked, during scheduled rounds, the proper operation of machinery; maintained proper temperatures and pressures; and recorded data in engineering log
• Worked under the supervision of the Chief and first Engineer
• Stood watch at sea

• Participated onboard the Overseas Boston as an engine cadet day worker
• Supervised by the Chief and First Engineer, completed preventative maintenance jobs on the various machinery including the main propulsion plant, generators, centrifuges, pumps.

• Working aboard the M/V Salacia. Responsibilities include filling fuel tanks, performing oil changes, customer service, scheduled maintenance of MTU Engines and waterjet propulsion system.

Kennedy, Cadets spend 50+ days at sea acquiring training in engineering, seamanship, environmental protection, damage control and maintenance.

• Junior level student management position
• Responsible for overall safety, training, and mentorship of fifty freshman cadets.

• Responsible for the accountability of thirty members
• Duties include scheduling facility tours and events to network for our members.
