  • As part of a collaboration with patient transport, cardiology and imaging was able to change process resulting in -9.4% of nursing time off floor and 13.5% improvement in radiology to floor transport times
  • Partnered with cardiology team to support cardiology growth
  • Without additional equipment was able to increase MRI cardiac volumes by 32%
  • As part of 256 CT scanner was able to work closely with cardiologist and nursing teams to increase cardiac volumes by 32%
  • With this change wait time from ordered to schedule decreased from 56 to less than 14 days
  • Worked with teams to obtain Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology and becoming the second facility within North Carolina to obtain this quality designation
  • Optimized efficiency and performance allowing a 12.5 FTE reduction
  • Approval of multi-modality technologist position and pay tiers to provide growth and recognition for our technologist with multiple certifications working to support several modalities.
